Castaneda recently attended a 2022 December Showcase Camp. He scored 13 points on field goals and 112 points on kick-offs during the charting phase of camp. Castaneda has superior leg speed and the ball jumps off his foot. He did well in drill work at camp and should be a recruited player in the 2024 class. Castaneda also competed at the Underclassman Challenge and scored 106.95 points on kick-offs and 7 points on field goals. With more work on kicking off the ground, Castaneda will be someone to follow this winter and spring!
