Recently, he excelled at the 2026 Kohl's Spring Texas Ranking Event, earning a kickoff score of 98.6 points with a standout 70-yard kick. Rangel also performed well at the 2025 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase, making 5 field goals and achieving a kickoff score of 90.2. His strong performance continued at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational, where he successfully made 15 field goals and finished with a kickoff score of 85.5.
