Upton had a great showing at his first ranking event, the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed collegiate leg strength in all three disciplines. He scored 95.27 points in the punt charting and produced a big ball of 52 yards with 4.33 seconds of hang time. His kickoff score was 106.92 which includes a big ball of 73 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time. His overall field goal charting produced a score of 18 points.
