Continuous improvement mindset, resilience, and ability to stay calm under pressure are my best attributes. These traits have been instrumental to my success on and off the field. My name is Max Yoon, and I am proud to be a student athlete at Yorktown High School in Arlington, Virginia.
Off the field, I challenge myself by taking the most rigorous honors and AP-level courses offered at my school, where I currently have a 4.0 unweighted GPA. I also compete in international piano competitions and volunteer regularly to perform at the Virginia Hospital Center and local senior care facilities. On the field, I am a dedicated teammate and confident kicker with a track record of performing under pressure. In addition to football, I play soccer at the ECNL level.
As an ambitious student athlete, I would love to contribute to the success of a competitive college football program and to fuel my intellectual curiosity in a well-regarded academic institution with a strong mathematics and/or computer science department.

With three kickers overall taken in the NFL Draft, the sixth round was a big one. All with similar attributes, when the first was selected, other teams knew they had to act fast. Within the span of ten draft picks, all three top kickers on draft boards were taken by teams looking for a kicker.
