Tatarek competed at the 2026 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He connected on 9 field goals, earned a 92.83 kickoff score with a best kickoff of 57 yards with 3.32 seconds of hang time, and recorded an 87.66 punt score during charting. Entering his senior season, Tatarek has the skill set to make it a big year! Tatarek attended the 2026 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase and showed noticeable improvement from his previous event. He scored 5 points in the field goal charting portion of camp and looked more confident and consistent with his ball striking throughout the session. Tatarek also had a good showing on kickoffs, earning an 89.85 kickoff score. In the punting portion of camp, he finished with a 74.47 punt score and flashed encouraging development as a multi-skilled specialist.
