Lu competed at the 2026 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase and showed strong punting ability throughout the event. He finished with an 89.74 punt score and connected on a standout punt of 48 yards with 3.59 seconds of hang time. Lu clearly has the leg strength and distance potential to hit big punts, and focusing on improving his hang time consistency this offseason will be an important step in taking his game to the next level.
