McLaughlin has the tools needed to play the position for a long time. He has the length and physical talent every college program is looking for. At the 2025 Kohl’s Spring Texas Showcase, he scored on 9 of his first 10 long snaps with an average snap time of .74 seconds. Mclaughlin followed up his solid charting session by running 4.72-second 40-yard dash. He has the intangibles you can't teach and the drive needed to become a top-tier snapper in the 2026 class.
