Kohl's Comments

Smythe recently competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed solid leg strength and refinement in his ball striking. He scored 16 points in the field goal charting and had an overall score of 99.92 in the kickoff portion of camp. His biggest kickoff at camp was 65 yards with 3.74 seconds of hang time. He has the tools be become an excellent college prospect, cleaning up the command of his rotation will be key for his continued development. Smythe came out to the 2024 Kohl's Western Showcase Camp in May. He scored 10 points on field goals and 102.80 points on kickoffs. His "A" ball has improved. Smythe's best kickoff was a 68-yard kickoff with 3.69 seconds of hang time. Smythe has a big six-months ahead of him as he continues to grow and develop his abilities. Smythe has the potential to succeed at a high level. Smythe attended a Kohl's Spring Ranking Event in March of 2024. He scored 104.25 points on kick-offs and 9/15 points on field goals. Smythe was also very fluid and coordinated in the drill work phase of camp.
