Kohl's Comments

McDonald’s last event was Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. He competed in both kicking and punting. He scored 92.03 points on kickoffs and 98.59 points in punting at the event. McDonald graded out as a college prospect at the event and should attract college interest this fall/winter. McDonald competed at his first ranking event during the 2025 Kohl's Texas Showcase Camp in May. He scored 87.06 points on punt charting and showed flashes of consistency while charting. He connected on multiple punts of 35 yards or more. His best punt traveled 41 yards with 3.85 seconds of hang time. Continued hard work on his hands paired with efforts in the weight room will contribute to McDonald's development over the next few months.
