Kohl's Comments

Laws came out to the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Camp in January. He competed well over the weekend and scored 7 points on field goal charting. His "A" ball gets great lift and has clean rotation. Laws scored 99.35 on kickoffs with a big ball of 66 yards with 3.49 seconds of hang time. Laws connected on multiple kickoffs of 64 yards or more during kickoff charting. Laws has great leg talent. Continued focus on mechanics will contribute to his success this year. Laws recently competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Midwest Winter Showcase. Here he had a strong performance which improved him to becoming a 4-Star prospect. Laws showed great command of the football, scoring 9 points on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting, Laws had his standout ball measure a distance of 61 yards with a hang time of 3.62 seconds. Laws also attended the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He charted nearly all of his kickoffs over 60+ yards with a big ball of 66 yards with 2.70 seconds of hang time. During the field goal charting portion of camp he scored 4 points and he showed improved command of his "A" ball throughout the camp. During the 2022 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase Camp, Laws displayed strong improvements to his abilities throughout the event. He scored 4 points during the field goal charting and finished with an average kickoff score of 86.15 points for the camp. Laws is setting himself up to come into his true potential, it will be exciting to see the development over the next year.
