Kohl's Comments

Foltz had another good showing at the 2026 Kohl's Texas Spring Ranking Event. He's continuing to improve the command of his drop and he is producing spirals much more consistently. His overall score at camp was 96.08 points with a big ball of 47 yards with 4.25 seconds of hang time. He is a hard working and has made tremendous improvements to his technique the past 12 months. Lane Foltz's performance at the 2026 Kohl's Future Stars Camp displayed a growing sense of confidence in his craft. In punt charting, he scored 93.4 points with a longest hit of 46 yards and a hang time of 4.0 seconds. He turned over most of the punts in the set and it was one of his best showings to date. Foltz also demonstrated his skills at the 2025 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase, earning an 87.6 punt score with a standout punt of 38 yards and 3.9 seconds of hang time. His best performance came at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp, where he achieved a score of 90.9 points, highlighted by a 55-yard punt with 3.9 seconds of hang time. At the 2025 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase, he recorded an overall punt score of 89.3, showcasing solid technique and control. He worked hard from start to finish and is making good progress in refining his technique.

I take a lot of pride in controlling field position and being consistent when it matters most. My goal at the next level is to keep improving my distance and hang time while helping my team win games.

I’d say my biggest strength is my work ethic. I’m coachable, I like feedback, and I’m always looking for ways to get better. I understand that as a specialist, every rep counts, and I take that seriously. I also try to be a good teammate and bring a positive attitude every day.

In the classroom, I have a 92.5 GPA, scored a 21 on the ACT, and am a member of the National Honor Society. I’m interested in majoring in engineering or marketing, and I make sure I stay disciplined with my schoolwork.

Having a family connection to college football has shown me the level of commitment it takes, and I’m ready for that challenge. I’m looking for a program where I can compete, develop, and be part of something bigger than myself.
