    Connolly participated in the 2025 Kohl's Western Spring Showcase. He converted 11 field goals during the charting portion and earned a 93.35 overall score on kickoffs. His best kickoff traveled 63 yards with 3.12 seconds of hang time. Connolly has a clean strike and, with continued offseason development, has the potential to take that next step as a specialist. Connolly also attended the 2024 Kohl's Western Winter Showcase. It was his first ranking event, and he showed poise and solid ball striking at camp. He scored 6 points in the field goal charting and connected with several well struck footballs in the drill work portion of camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 91.25 points which includes a big ball of 57 yards with 3.47 seconds of hang time. He has sound technique and is natural ball striker, increasing his leg strength this winter will be key for his continued development.
