Black had another solid showing at the talented filled 2026 Kohl's Underclassman Challenge. He competed in all three disciplines and excelled in all three. He scored 92.46 points in the punt charting and connected with a big ball of 47 yards with 3.95 seconds of hang time. His overall kickoff score was 100.03 and his combined field goal score was 13 points. Joseph Black continues to demonstrate a solid mix of power and consistency in his performances, even under challenging weather conditions at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase. He recorded 12 field goal points, 101.25 kickoff points, and 86.14 punt points during the event. His top balls included a 69-yard kickoff with a hang time of 3.6 seconds and a 52-yard punt with a hang time of 3.91 seconds. Consistent improvement is evident, particularly in his technique and leg speed. At the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp, he achieved impressive scores, including 98.98 on kickoffs and 86.38 for punting, with a standout kickoff of 66 yards. His performance at the 2025 Kohl’s Southern Spring Showcase was also strong, highlighted by a perfect 101.00 on kickoffs and a notable punt of 53 yards. Joseph continues to grow more confident while sharpening important areas of his technique.
