    Sanchez recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. During the field goal charting, Sanchez posted a score of 11 points. Throughout the kickoff charting Sanchez had multiple balls that were 50+ yards, with his big ball reaching a distance of 60 yards with a hang time of 2.93 seconds. Sanchez also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase Camp. He showed solid ball striking skills in the drill work and charting portion of field goals where he scored 5 points. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was a 56 yard ball with 3.53 seconds of hang time. Sanchez competed at the 2023 Kohl's March ranking event. He showed increased leg strength and improved consistency with his ball striking. He scored 3 points in the field goal charting portion of camp and was able to command his ball flight well during the drill work portion of camp. His biggest charted kickoff at the event was 66 yards with 3.47 seconds of hang time.

      With three kickers overall taken in the NFL Draft, the sixth round was a big one. All with similar attributes, when the first was selected, other teams knew they had to act fast.
