Wheaton competed at the 2025 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase. He earned an 88.99 in punting and showed strong ball control throughout the session. His standout punt traveled 52 yards with 3.87 seconds of hang time. With continued focus on maintaining a clean drop and consistent contact, he has the tools to continue developing as a reliable punter. Wheaton punted at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp in July of 2025. He scored 94.13 points during the three charting sessions held at camp. Wheaton has shown the leg strength and overall talent needed to play in college. Wheaton participated in the 2025 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase and delivered a strong performance as a punter.
