Thibodeaux recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. He tallied 11 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff portion, Thibodeaux had an overall score of 92.42, with a big ball of 61 yards and 3.63 seconds of hang time. Thibodeaux also competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase Camp. He flashed solid potential in both field goals and kickoffs and was able to connect with a big ball of 59 yards with 3.37 seconds of hang time during the kickoff charting portion of camp. He showed flashes of consistency during his drill work portion of camp on field goals and was able to score 3 points in the charting.
