Usherwood competed at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He made 16 field goals during the event and finished with a 99.28 kickoff score. His best kickoff traveled 68 yards with 3.60 seconds of hang time, showing solid lift and control. Usherwood is positioned well for a strong senior season. Usherwood came out to the 2025 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He shined brightest as a punter and earned a 4-star rating. Usherwood scored 91.07 points on punt charting and 5 on rollouts. His best punt was a 48-yard punt with 3.50 seconds of hang time. Usherwood also scored 5 points on field goals and 95.30 on kickoffs. His best kickoff was a 59-yard ball with 3.66 seconds of hang time. Developments to his ball striking will help him burst onto the scene this season.
