Athlete Bio
Greetings, my name is Jackson Mosqueda. I was introduced to kicking from my uncle Nathan Frazie who kicked in High School and one year in college. He watched me play soccer and said I was a natural kicker. He gave me a lesson or two, but I did not start taking lessons and attending camps, and playing football, until my junior and senior year of high school.
I have attended two Kohls Kicking camp events to help me grow as a kicker. I showed up to football practice in August and, by late September, I earned the punting and kickoff rolls, and some of the extra point and field goal rolls. As of two games ago, my other kicking teammate and I, have also assumed the holding roll for the other kicker.
At the Kohls camps and when kicking on my own, I have kicked at far as a 57 yard field goal. If you watch my kickoff videos, I can put my kickoffs in the end zone if needed. I have not had a lot of training punting, by my punts are consistent and as you can see in the videos, I often have the opposing teams receiver back peddling to catch the ball.
I would love to find a great school where I can continue to grow as a kicker and earn my mechanical engineering degree.
