Kohl's Comments

Fry competed at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2024. He scored 96.06 points in punting at the event. He also scored 9/36 points on field goals and 91.63 points on kickoffs at camp. Fry came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He punted the football well and earned another half-star. Fry scored 97.81 points on punt charting and 11 points on roll-outs. He flashed versatility as he excelled in both pocket punting and roll-out punting. His best punt was a 56-yard blast with 4.37 seconds of hang time. Fry scored 6 points on field goals and 103.25 points on kickoff charting. His best kickoff traveled 70 yards with 3.38 seconds of hang time. Continued focus on repeatability will help Fry's abilities as a combo athlete in the class of 2025. Fry had his best showing to date at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Event. Here he improved to a 4-Star Rating in both kicking and punting, showing his hard work is paying off. He finished the field goal session with a total of 4 points. During the kickoff charting, Fry recorded his standout ball at a distance of 63 yards with a hang time of 3.21 seconds. He finished the punt session with an overall score of 89.98, while showing good "pop" on the football. His big ball was measured at 45 yards with a hang time of 3.92 seconds. Fry is a talented combo specialist that if he can continue putting in the work has the potential to compete at the next level. Fry attended his first ranking event, the 2023 Kohl's Southern Winter Showcase. He competed in all three disciplines and had a strong overall showing. He displayed sound technical skills and good leg speed. He scored 5 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 64 yards with 3.18 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting. Nearly all of his punts charted were over 35 yards, including his biggest charted punt of 41 yards with 3.56 seconds of hang time.
