Ballard had an excellent showing at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He displayed increased leg strength and improved command of his "A" ball. He scored 96.25 points in the punt charting and connected with a big ball of 58 yards with 4.46 seconds of hang time. His field goal charting produced a score of five points, and his overall kickoff score was 93.25 points. Ballard came out to the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He earned a 4-star rating at his first ranking event. Ballard scored 14 points on field goals and showed smooth mechanics throughout the weekend. Ballard scored 90.77 points on kickoff charting with a big ball of 60 yards with 3.32 seconds of hang time. Ballard has a solid foundation. Continued strides in leg speed paired with technical refinements will help Ballard grow his game over the next few seasons.
