Ruth had his best showing to date at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed increased command of his technique, and his ball/foot contact has improved. His overall score on kickoffs was 105.23 and his total on the field goal charting was 21 points. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was 73 yards with 3.70 seconds of hang time. Ruth competed at the 2025 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He had a good performance and graded out as a 4-star kicker. Ruth scored 6 points on field goals and 97.40 on kickoffs. He has good leg speed and "pop" on his clean kicks. Ruth connected on a 66-yard kickoff with 3.31 seconds of hang time. Minor technical refinements to his steps will elevate Ruth's talents to new heights.
