Kohl's Comments

King had another strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He competed well in all three disciplines and was able to chart some excellent kicks. He scored 20 points in the field goal charting and produced a kickoff score of 101.70 which includes a big ball of 65 yards with 3.77 seconds of hang time. He was excellent in the roll-out portion of punting where he scored 18 points and he moved with confidence in space. His overall punt score was 94.36 which includes his big ball of 49 yards with 4.21 seconds of hang time. King attended the 2024 March Ranking Event. He scored 98.08 points in punting, 106.05 points on kick-offs, and 7/15 points on field goals. His field goal drill work session was very impressive at camp. At the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship, he showcased a smooth swing and good command of his ball rotation and ball/foot contact. He scored a combined total of 16 points in the field goals chartings. His strength at camp was his kickoffs were had an overall average of 99.70 with a big ball of 68 yards with 3.60 seconds of hang time.
