Kohl's Comments

Carlson had an excellent showing at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He impressed with his consistency during the charting portions of camp and consistently turned the football over. His command was elite and he scored 98.02 points in the punt charting. His biggest charted punt at camp was 50 yards with 4.63 seconds of hang time, he also connected on several punts over 5.0 at camp. Carlson competed at the 2025 Kohl’s Southern Spring Showcase and charted 5 field goals during the field goal session. He earned a kickoff score of 78.60, with his best kickoff traveling 55 yards with a 2.41-second hang time. His strongest performance came in the punting phase, where he posted an impressive score of 101.37 and hit a standout punt of 53 yards with a 4.44-second hang time. He also won the underclassman punt competition at the event. Carlson showed excellent ability in punting and has the tools to continue developing in his other areas.
