Kohl's Comments

Scruggs had his best showing to date at the 2023 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase. His kickoff skills were some of the best at camp and he produced some impressive numbers at camp including a big ball of 70 yards with 3.99 seconds. He scored 8 points in the charting portion and displayed one of the quickest legs at camp in the drill work. He flashed strong potential in his punting and was able to connect with a big ball of 58 yards with 4.34 seconds of hang time. He can compete day one on kickoffs at the collegiate level. Scruggs had another strong showing at the 2023 Texas Fall Ranking Event. He displayed advanced ball striking skills and showcased college leg strength. He commands his "A" ball well and he hit some impressive footballs at camp. He scored 8 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 73 yards with 3.29 seconds of hang time in the kickoff charting. ss.
