Kohl's Comments

Trew came out to the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship. He had a solid performance and earned another half-star as both a kicker and punter. Trew scored 10 points on field goals, 77.82 on kickoffs, and 92.56 on punts. Trew's best punt was a 46-yard punt with 4.07 seconds of hang time. Trew showed flashes of consistency during punt charting. Hard work on his grip and drop table will help his punting abilities this season. Trew recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. Here he posted 7 points on the field goal charting. During the kickoff charting he had an overall score of 79.22, with his big ball being a 50-yard kick with a hang time of 3.14 seconds. During the punt charting he had a score of 87.31, with his stand out ball being a 45-yard punt with a hang time of 3.6 seconds. With continued focus on his ball striking consistency, Trew can continue developing into his true potential.
