Lane had his best showing at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed improvement with the consistency of his drop and improved leg strength from his last event. He scored 95.67 points in the charting and connected with a big ball of 51 yards with 3.99 seconds of hang time. He has developed into a strong collegiate punting prospect. Lane had a strong showing at the 2024 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. It was his best performance to date in the punt charting and he produced some excellent punts. He scored 95.63 points which includes a big ball of 49 yards with 4.32 seconds of hang time. Lane competed at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Camp in January as a punter. He showed flashes of potential for his first ranking event. Lane scored 87.75 points on punt charting with a big 40-yard punt with 4.53 seconds of hang time.
