Simpson recently competed at the 2024 Kohl´s Southern Spring Showcase. Here he had a great performance showing much improvement since his last ranking event, earning his 4.5-star rating in both kicking and punting. Simpson finished the punt charting with a big ball measured to a distance of 53 yards with a hang time of 4.38 seconds. He showed good command of the football putting up 8 points on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting, he finished with an overall score of 100.10 with his longest kickoff measuring a distance of 67 yards with a hang time of 3.29 seconds. Simpson is a combo specialist with the talents to compete at the next level. Simpson also competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Southern Winter Showcase. Here he had 6 points on the field goal session, commanding the ball well. During the kickoff charting, his big ball measured a distance of 56 yards with a hang time of 2.68 seconds. He ended the session with an overall score of 81.25. Simpson has a big offseason ahead of him, and it would benefit him greatly to work on improving his leg strength.
