Abbott recently competed at the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship. He scored 19 points in the field goal charting and commanded his "A" ball well throughout the event. His kickoff score was 103.43 and his biggest kickoff was 72 yards with 3.21 seconds of hang time. Abbott graded out at the 4.5-Star level at a March 2025 Spring Ranking Event. He scored 99.85 points on kickoffs and 8/15 points on field goals during the windy day. He had another impressive performance at the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase. He showed improved leg strength, and he's increased the command of his "A" ball on field goals. He scored 5 points in the field goal charting and produced well-struck footballs during the drill work phase of camp. His kickoffs were improved, and he produced an overall score of 101.65, which includes a big ball of 64 yards with 3.82 seconds of hang time.
