Kohl's Comments

Pesson came out to the 2024 Kohl's Texas Showcase Camp in May. He performed well and earned another half-star as both a kicker and a punter. Pesson scored 7 points on field goals, 98.60 points on kickoffs, and 90.65 points on punts. Pesson connected on a big kickoff of 67 yards with 3.21 seconds of hang time. His improvements in his leg strength are impressive. Presson hit a big punt of 41 yards with 3.97 seconds of hang time. His abilities have improved significantly over the last year. Continued efforts on technical refinements will continue Pesson's growth over the next year. Pesson recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. He scored 10 points on the field goal charting. Pesson put up an overall score of 88.63 on the kickoff charting, with his big ball reaching a distance of 60 yards with a hang time of 3.43 seconds. During the punt charting he posted an overall score of 82.08, along with posting a big ball that measured 41 yards with 3.64 seconds. Pesson also attended the 2023 Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. It was his first ranking event and he flashed solid ball striking and potential. He comes from a high school powerhouse and has trained hard at increasing the command of his drop. He catches the ball and is sound with his fundamentals. Sticking the plant and driving up and through contact should help him create more hang time on his punts. His biggest charted punt at camp was 30 yards with 3.72 seconds of hang time.
