    Kohl's Comments

    Nelson participated in the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He made 12 field goals during the charting portion and earned a strong 99.62 kickoff score, with his best ball reaching 67 yards and 3.50 seconds of hang time. He also showcased his punting ability by posting a 91.64 overall punt score. Nelson's clean technique and well-rounded skill set make him a standout combo specialist. Nelson attended the 2024 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase, where he scored a 93.25 on kickoffs. His best ball traveled 57 yards with a 3.66-second hang time. Additionally, he made 6 field goals during the event. Continued offseason work will aid in further improvement for the young specialist.
