The 2026 Kohl's Midwest Spring Showcase was another solid showing for Sims. His field goal charting totaled 11 points, while kickoff charting reached 94.4 and punt charting ended at 98.8 points. Each phase featured impressive hits of 55 yards with 4.03 seconds of hang in the kickoff charting and 48 yards (4.7 seconds) in the punt. He flashed an excellent "A" ball in the drill portions of camp; he competed well despite the swirling winds at camp. At the 2026 Kohl's National Underclassman Challenge, he scored 99.33 points, highlighted by a standout punt of 50 yards with 4.4 seconds of hang time. Additionally, he earned 13 points in field goals and a score of 105.7 in kickoffs. His dedication was evident at the 2025 Kohl's Eastern Winter Showcase, where he achieved solid scores across all phases, further showcasing his ongoing development and mastery of technique.
