O'Connell came out to the 2024 Kohl's Eastern Showcase Camp. He scored 87.27 points on punts and 5 points on roll-out charting. O'Connell connected on a big ball of 38 yards with 4.41 seconds of hang time. His hangtime has improved over the last few months. Continued efforts on his drop table will improve his consistency over the next season. O'Connell recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed improved refinement with his catch/mold and his tempo through contact was more consistent. He charted a big ball of 46 yards with 4.06 seconds of hang time. O'Connell competed at the 2023 Kohl's Eastern Spring Showcase Camp. He charted in all three disciplines and was able to showcase some excellent leg strength and potential. He scored 5 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball on kickoffs of 55 yards with 3.16 seconds of hang time.
