Kohl's Comments

Jones recently kicked and punted at Kohl’s National Scholarship Camp. He scored 17 points on field goals, 111 points on kickoffs, and 100.09 points on punts at the camp in July of 2025. Jones showed the leg strength and overall consistency needed to play in college. Jones also came out to the 2025 Kohl's Texas Showcase Camp in May. He scored 7 points on field goals, 114.30 points on kickoffs, and 110.74 points on punt charting. His leg strength has improved significantly over the past 6 months. His best kickoff was a 79-yard bomb with 3.69 seconds of hang time. Jones has a big leg. Every kickoff Jones charted traveled 73 yards or more. Jones also connected on a monster 65-yard punt with 4.47 seconds of hang time. Jones has one of the strongest legs in the class of 2026. Continued hard work on some minor mechanical tweaks will help Jones elevate his abilities to the next level. Jones had an excellent showing at the 2024 Kohl's Texas Winter Showcase. He showed dramatic improvement with his leg strength and overall improved form. He scored 8 points in the field goal charting and produced a score of 101.05 which includes his big ball of 65 yards with 3.65 seconds of hang time. His punts saw the biggest improvement overall and he charted a score of 99.88. His biggest charted punt at camp was 48 yards with 4.43 seconds of hang time. Jones competed at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Fall Ranking Event. He displayed impressive leg strength at camp for his age and charted some excellent footballs throughout the camp. His overall score on the field goal chart was 5 points. His overall score was 99.20 for kickoffs
