Kohl's Comments

Taboada competed at the 2025 Kohl's Texas Spring Showcase, where he showed promise as a young kicker. He made six field goals and earned a kickoff score of 84.50. His best kickoff traveled 55 yards with a 3.00-second hang time. With continued growth and focused training, Taboada has a solid foundation to build upon in the years ahead. Taboada also competed at the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He had a solid showing for his first ranking event. He flashed solid leg strength for a younger athlete and had a good weekend at camp. He scored 10 points in the field goal charting and produced some well struck footballs. Focusing on developing his leg strength will be key for his continued improvement with his kickoffs. His overall score at camp was 77.75. He has great fundamentals to build on will be fun to watch develop the next 4 years.
