Kohl's Comments

Fitzgerald recently competed at the 2024 May Kohl's Southern Spring Showcase. He showed improved command of his ball striking which allowed him to score 13/15 points in the field goal charting. His ball flight was straight and clean. He was also able to score 110 points on kickoffs. He has gotten stronger and should continue to develop in the coming years. Fitzgerald has been very productive in games and has a family history of handling pressure as his brother has started and been successful at FSU. In 2023 he scored 9/15 points on field goals. He has the confidence and coordination to become an excellent field goal kicker. Fitzgerald competed at the Kohl's Southern Showcase in May of 2022 and had a very impressive performance for a younger athlete. He made 6 points on field goals and hit a 61-yard 3.01 second hang time kickoff. Fitzgerald has the leg talent required to be a dominant specialist over the upcoming years and we are excited to see how far he can go as a kicking specialist.
