Kohl's Kicking National Player of the Week
The Kohl's staff wants to recognize Kohl's kicking, punting, and long snapping prospects across the country for their outstanding performances each week during the 2024-2025 high school football season.
Kohl's Comments
Downs has developed himself into one of the best and most consistent snappers in the country. He recently competed at the Kohl’s Texas Showcase and snapped the same ball time and time again. Downs finished the charting phase of Texas Showcase with the highest overall score in the country for the 2024 class. He put 8 of his 10 scoring snaps through the middle of the target with tight rotation. Downs has worked his tail off to get to this point and has what it takes to play at the Division 1 level.Awards & Honors
