Merriman competed at the 2025 Kohl's Fall Ranking Event. He made 7 field goals during the charting portion and showed a consistent swing throughout the event. He earned a 94.35 on his kickoff charting, with his best ball traveling 60 yards and 3.54 seconds of hang time. He also scored an 84.68 in punting, demonstrating versatility. Continued focus on adding hang time and refining contact will help him elevate his overall performance. Merriman competed at the 2025 Kohl's Texas Showcase Camp in May. It was his first ranking event. Merriman scored 3 points on field goal charting. He took coaching well and made some nice adjustments to his mechanics during drill work. Merriman scored 97.65 points on kickoff charting. His best ball traveled 64 yards with 3.43 seconds of hang time. Merriman has good leg strength for his age.
