Weitzel recently competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Midwest Winter Showcase. He had a good showing for it being his first ranking event, earning himself a 4-Star on his kicking. He was able to show good command of the football on his field goal session putting up 7 total points. During the kickoff charting he was able to connect with his big ball a distance of 59 yards with a hang time of 3.25 seconds. During the punt charting, Weitzel had his standout ball go a distance of 44 yards with a hang time of 3.72 seconds. Weitzel is a combo specialist that has a lot of potential!
