Kohl's Comments

Akim had a strong showing at the 2023 Kohl's Texas Fall Ranking Event. He had his most complete showing and he impressed in all three areas at camp. His leg strength is college ready now and he's worked hard at increasing the command of his ball striking and control. He scored 6 points in the field goal charting and connected with a big ball of 71 yards with 3.81 seconds of hang time. His punting has improved as well, and he crushed some punts at camp including a big ball of 48 yards with 4.62 seconds of hang time. Akim competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He charted in all three disciplines at the event and had a solid overall showing at his first ranking event. His overall score on kickoffs at camp was 93.30 and he connected with a combined total of 12 points in the field goal charting. During the punt charting, he connected with several good punts including a big ball of 46 yards with 4.35 seconds of hang time.
