Tiernan participated in the 2025 Kohl's National Scholarship Invitational. He made 13 field goals and posted an 89.20 kickoff score, with his best ball traveling 60 yards with 3.40 seconds of hang time. His performance reflects consistency in the field goal phase and growing leg strength on kickoffs. Continued focus on increasing power will help him elevate his game further. Tiernan had a solid showing at his first ranking event, the 2024 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He showed good poise for a younger athlete and commanded his "A" ball well in the field goal charting at camp. he scored 13 points and produced some excellent makes at camp. His overall score on kickoffs was 70.52. Continued focus on leg strength and building explosiveness will be key for his overall development the next 4 years.
