Kregel had another solid showing at the 2024 Kohl's Future Stars Invitational. He won the kickoff competition day 1 for his age group. He scored 6 points in the charting portion of camp on field goals and scored 102.65 on kickoffs. His biggest charted kickoff at camp was 67 yards with 3.59 seconds of hang time. He has excellent leg speed and creating more command of extending through contact should help him continue to improve his distance and hang time on his kickoffs. Kregel competed at the 2023 Kohl’s Midwest Winter Showcase. He had a great performance for his first ranking event. He showed good command of the football while putting up 7 points on the field goal session. During the kickoff charting, Kregel showed advanced leg speed through contact sending his big ball a distance of 64 yards with a hang time of 3.59 seconds.
