Kohl's Comments

Herrera recently competed at Kohl's 2023 Senior Challenge and graded out at the 4.5-star level as a kicker and punter! At the Winter Showcase in December 2022 he charted in all three disciplines. He scored 5 points in the field goal competition and hit 3 of his 5 kickoffs over 60 yards with a big ball of 63 yards with 3.53 seconds of hang time. During the punt charting, Herrera hit a few solid punts and his "A" ball for the session was 43 yards with 4.65 seconds. Herrera has a strong foundation of technique and continues to develop into a proficient specialist. Herrera competed at Kohl's Future Stars Event in January of 2022. He charted well on field goals with 6 made and had good performances on both kickoffs and punts. Herrera attended the 2021 Kohl’s Texas Winter Showcase and showed some exciting potential. He displayed smooth mechanics during the field goal drill work, had several kickoffs over 60+ yards. Herrera’s leg speed is among some of the best in his class.
