Kohl's Comments

Bittman recently competed at Kohl's National Scholarship Camp in July of 2020 and a Winter 2021 Showcase. He has arguably the strongest kickoff leg in the country. In the winter of 2020, he charted a big ball of 85 yards with 4.37 seconds of hang time and won the kickoff competition day one with a 77 yard 4.4 second blast. Bittman is capable of competing for a Power 5 starting spot on kickoffs right now. Increasing the command of his ball flight off the ground and increasing the consistency of his ball/foot contact will help him continue to develop into one of the best prospects in the country. In January of 2021 he showed signs of becoming a complete FG kicker off the ground. His ball striking has improved and makes him exciting to watch in the coming years!

Recruiting Blog: Setting Goals-- Athletic, Academic & Recruiting

Being a Kohl’s Coach for over ten years, the one thing I hear the most from athletes is talk of their star rating & ranking and what they want to achieve, especially during the Showcase season. But I wonder how many have thought about what it takes to achieve it and how to make it happen with their training? I am a big believer of setting high goals, laying out a detailed plan and doing everything in my power to try and achieve them.
