Kohl's Comments

Newhouse put together another strong performance during the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He finished with several of his punts having over 4.1 seconds of hang time and displayed great consistency in his swinging motion. Newhouse caught a few glimpses of his true potential and will see these happen more often with continued focus on consistent drops. Newhouse has worked hard the past 6 months. He is a powerful kicker with quick hips and a fast leg. He can continue to get his leg swing coming "up" on contact which should drastically improve his ability to maximize his leg speed and power. He charted a big ball of 40 yards with 3.21 seconds of hang time in his punt charting and looked more comfortable catching and releasing the ball on his drop.
