Friend recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's AZ Winter Showcase. He showcased advanced leg speed and refinement with his ball striking in all three disciplines. He scored 6 points in the field goal charting and also produced a score of 94.80 in the kickoff portion of camp. His biggest kickoff charted was 64 yards with 3.11 seconds of hang time and he flashed excellent potential in the punt charting by scoring a big ball of 47 yards with 4.47 seconds of hang time.
