Messenger had his most complete showing at the 2022 Eastern Spring Showcase. He punted with confidence and displayed increased leg strength as well. He catches the ball well and is consistent with his drop and his ball/foot contact. He scored a big ball of 54 yards with 4.56 seconds of hang. He established himself as a legitamate college prospect at the event. Messenger attended the Kohl’s National Showcase Tour in the spring of 2021 where he performed as a pure punter.
