Kohl's Comments

Morimoto has continued to impress the coaching staff during the 2022 Kohl's National Scholarship Camp. He scored 17 total points during the field goal charting and finished with a total average score on kickoffs of 102.9 points. Morimoto has some impressive leg speed to go along with great ball striking, an excellent combination to have moving forward into the future! Morimoto had another solid outing at the 2022 Western Kohl's Spring Showcase. He showed improved leg strength and "pop" on the ball. He charted a big ball of 68 yards with 3.89 seconds of hang time and was able to score 4 points in the field goal charting at camp. His "A" ball is excellent and if he can continue to improve the ability to call on it, he will continue to make strides in his development. Morimoto competed at the Kohl's Future Stars Event in January of 2022. He hit multiple 60+ yard kickoffs and charted 5 during the field goal phase of camp. Morimoto attended his first Kohl’s ranking event at the Winter Showcase in December of 2021. He had some impressive field goals during the charting phase of camp with 7 points made.
