Hyland came out to the 2024 Kohl's Southern Showcase Camp in May. He had a well-rounded performance and improved his ranking as both a kicker and a punter. Hyland scored 102.25 points on kickoff charting. His best ball traveled 70 yards with 3.47 seconds of hang time. He has above-average kickoff abilities. Hyland punted well and graded out as a 4.5-star punter at camp. He scored 100.81 points on punts and 9 points on rollouts demonstrating he can succeed at a high level. Hyland connected on a 53-yard punt with 4.30 seconds of hang time. Hyland has the potential and the leg talent to succeed at the next level. Hyland recently competed at the 2023 Kohl's National Scholarship Showcase. Here he posted 12 points on the field goal charting. Hyland had a good overall score of 94.98 points on the kickoff charting, with his big ball reaching 64 yards with a hang time of 3.15 seconds. Hyland had a number of kickoffs reach 60+ yards. With continued effort in working on his ball striking consistency he should see even more improvement in his craft.
