Kohl's Comments

Butts recently attended the 2023 Kohl's Future Stars Event. He showed flashes of excellent upside. He has strong legs and catches the ball well. he scored a big punt of 50 yards with 3.63 seconds of hang time. Butts competed during the 2022 Kohl's Midwest Winter Showcase Camp, his first Kohl's ranking event. He showed smooth mechanics during the field goal portion of camp and had several kickoffs over 55+ yards during the charting. He was dialed in throughout the punt charting, finishing with an average of 40.6 yards with a hang time of 4.15 seconds with his best ball being 49 yards with 4.46 seconds of hang time. Butts should continue to turn heads in future events as he continues to develop this off-season.
