Kohl's Comments

Pausman recently competed at the 2019 Eastern Spring Showcase Camp. He scored 5 points on the field goal portion of camp and was able to show improved consistency by charting everyone of his kickoffs over 50 yards. Continued focus on his fast twitch muscle should help create more leg speed on his kickoffs. Keeping the ball extended on his punts will allow him to create more consistent contact on his punts as well. His big ball punting was 41 yards with 3.59 seconds. Pausman competed at the 2018 Midwest Winter showcase. His leg strength has improved and his technique in punting has gotten better. His big ball kicking off was 56 yards with 3.25 seconds of hang time. He caught the ball well and was able to drop it consistently during the punting portion of camp. Continued emphasis on clean rotation should help his accuracy improve on his field goals.
